how it works
I work from photos, so I need at least one to make a start. I like to get a good likeness, so the better the photo the better the end result. You can supply extra photos too - I can composite them together to get the perfect portrait.
Little details make a huge difference - if there’s a favourite t-shirt or pair of shoes I can include it in the final piece.
how to order
If you interested in commissioning a portrait, you can drop me an email (whimbrel.illustrations@gmail.com) or give me a call at the studio (01326 374 659). I will work out the possible sizes, orientations, compositions, and will get back to you with a quote.
My lead time varies between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on my workload, but I can usually give you a better idea when ordering.
You can collect the piece if you’re local, or I can arrange postage. I can supply a frame if collecting, but won’t post anything framed (as broken glass can pierce the art).
